The German American
Society Center was completed in 1929.Of Carthage Limestone, in a Gothic style, it is located
adjacent to the Gillette Historical District in Tulsa.Easily accessible, it is located one block West of Lewis
Avenue on 15th Street.The
building’s beautiful design, prestigious setting and comfort
make it desirable for any kind of function from business meetings

The
Center is a NON-Smoking Facility.Smoking anywhere in the building is prohibited. Urns are provided outside for the convenience of guests.
FACILITIES:The Great Hall will accommodate up to 200 guests for a
sit-down dinner, 300 for a buffet reception with dance
floor.
FURNITURE:Twenty-five round tables (60 inch), 200 chairs, ten
rectangular 6 foot tables and a portable bar are
available for use at no additional charge.
KITCHEN:A catering kitchen without cooking facilities is
available.
MUSIC, SOUND AND PUBLIC ADDRESS EQUIPMENT:Except for a theater Pipe
Organ and Piano which are available for rent, all
music, sound and PA equipment must be furnished by
Lessee.If
the Pipe Organ is rented, the Organist must be
approved by the Leasing Manager.
RESTROOMS:Lower Level
Hall, one each, Men’s and Women’s.Upper Level, one unisex, handicapped.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY:The
West Door(Ceremonial
Entrance) is wheelchair accessible.
TELEPHONE:A public
telephone for local calls (742-6811) is located
immediately on the left of the North access stairs
to the Lower Level
SECURITY:One Security Guard is provided at no additional charge to
Lessee.Additional
Security Guards may be required at $25.00/hour with
a 3 hour minimum when alcoholic beverages are served
(excluding wine or beer) and when guests exceed 300
persons.
PARKING:There are 51 parking spaces, 2 handicap spaces and 1
caterer’s space on the premises. Street parking is
available on weekends and after 6:00 P.M. weekdays.
NOTE:The Oklahoma
Alcoholic Beverage Control Act MAY require
lessees to obtain a special event license if
alcoholic beverages in any manner are provided
on the premises.

the time of booking. Deposit less any additional charge (damage
or additional time) will be refunded following event. Total
rental fee is payable 30 days prior to event unless reservation
is made less than 30 days before, in which case total fee
(deposit plus rental fee) is required to execute the lease
agreement.
